  • 100th Year Anniversary – Airdrie Legion – Friday July 17th from 5:00 pm to approximately 10:00 pm. Where: Airdrie Legion 132 – 1st Ave NW, Requirements: must be over 18. Mandatory orientation for specific roles and will include safety protocols, food and non-alcohol beverages will be provided. Help with parking, set up and take down, and runners. Interested?   • Airdrie Disability Resource and Awareness Centre – Purposeful Play Summer Camp – in Irricana July 2024th. 9am to 12pm. Ages 16+. Volunteers will help neurodiverse children engage in various activities.  Interested? Call Anne at 403 926 4240 or email [email protected]

  • Doin it On the Grass Car Show – August 8th – Nose Creek park – Help out at the 25th Anniversary of this Show and Shine hosted by the Time Traveler’s Car Club. Raising money for local charities.   • Treasurer and Committee Members – Meals on Wheels, Committee members to help out with tasks such as set up for functions, take down, as needed. Hours vary. Treasurer should have bookkeeping experience, hours roughly 20 a month. Interested? Contact [email protected]

  • Snack Pack Volunteers – Feeding Our Future – Second Harvest – July 6, 13, 20, 27 August: Tue August 4 & Mon August 10, 17, 24, Shift Times: 9:30am – 11:30am or 1:00pm – 3:30pm, 260081 Nose Creek Blvd, Rocky View County, Volunteers make 1,000 snack packs during a 2-hour shift throughout the summer, Email Ashley Ferguson at [email protected] with your top 2-3 choices for dates/shifts listed above.

  • Senior Caregiver Ambassador – Caregivers Alberta – Support seniors who are caregivers in a flexible volunteer role. Learn more: caregiversalberta.ca/volunteer
